Text-to-Speech

Turn viewer messages into fun automated voices with multi-language support

Text-to-Speech (TTS) converts viewer comments and events into automated voice that plays on your stream. It makes your stream more interactive and accessible, especially when you can't read chat while gaming.

What is TTS?

TTS reads text aloud using AI voices. In GEMTOK, you can:

  • Read chat comments automatically
  • Announce new followers, gifts, likes with custom messages
  • Use different voices and languages
  • Filter which messages get read (keyword, gift, etc.)

Example:

  • Viewer comments "Hello!" ? TTS says "John says Hello!"
  • New follower ? TTS says "Welcome John to the stream!"

Voices & Languages

GEMTOK supports multiple TTS providers and voices:

  • Languages: English, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, etc.
  • Voices: Male or Female (depends on provider)
  • Quality: Standard and Neural (more natural)

Check your dashboard for current voice list - it updates as providers add new voices.

Best Practices

  • Filter long messages: Set max length, e.g., only read first 100 characters
  • Block bad words: Use keyword blacklist or moderation
  • Adjust speed: Slightly faster (1.1x) feels more energetic
  • Test volume: TTS should be audible but not overpower your mic

TTS reads whatever viewers type. Always use filters to prevent abuse. Monitor your stream and be ready to disable TTS if needed. Follow TikTok Live Rules.

Limits

PlanTTS
Free? Included
Premium? Included (more voices, higher quality)

TTS is included in both Free and Premium, but Premium may have access to more voices and longer text.

Troubleshooting

  • No sound? Check browser autoplay permission, system volume, and OBS audio capture. See Sound Not Played
  • Voice not changing? Some voices require Premium or specific language
  • Delay? TTS needs internet to generate audio, slight delay (1-2s) is normal
