Account Security
Update your password and manage your login sessions
Keep your GEMTOK account safe by regularly updating your password and monitoring your active login sessions. This guide explains how to change your password and manage logged-in devices.
Change Your Password
You can change your password anytime from the password settings page. For security reasons, you must enter your current password to set a new one.
Go to Change Password page: https://www.gemtok.live/account/password/
Make sure you are logged in to your GEMTOK account.
Fill in the password form:
- Current Password - Enter your existing password to verify it's you
- New Password - Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters, use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols for stronger security)
Click Update Password or Save Changes to apply.
If successful, you will see a confirmation message that your password has been updated.
Re-login on other devices.
After changing your password, all other active sessions may be logged out automatically for security. You will need to log in again on other browsers or devices with the new password.
- You must know your Current Password to change it. If you forgot your current password, use Forgot Password on the login page instead.
- Do not share your password with anyone. GEMTOK staff will never ask for your password.
- Avoid using the same password you use on other websites.
Forgot Current Password?
If you cannot remember your current password:
- Go to login page: https://www.gemtok.live/en/login/
- Click Forgot Password?
- Enter your registered email address
- Check your inbox and follow the reset link to create a new password
Manage Active Sessions
Active Sessions lets you see all devices and browsers where your GEMTOK account is currently logged in. Use this to monitor suspicious logins and log out devices you no longer use.
View Active Sessions
Go to Security page: https://www.gemtok.live/account/security/
Scroll to the Active Sessions or Login Sessions section.
You will see a list of sessions with details such as:
- Device / Browser - e.g., Chrome on Windows, Safari on iPhone
- IP Address
- Login Date - When the session was created
- Current Session label - Indicates the device you are currently using
Logout from a Specific Session
If you see an unknown device or you want to log out from another device:
On the Security page, find the session you want to end.
Click Logout, Revoke, or the X / Trash icon next to that session.
Confirm the action when prompted.
That device will be logged out immediately and will need to enter your password again to access your account.
If you notice a login you don't recognize:
- Change your password immediately at https://www.gemtok.live/account/password/
- Then revoke all other sessions from the Security page
- Enable extra security if available and check your account for any unauthorized changes
Security Best Practices
- Use a strong, unique password - At least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- Change password regularly - Especially if you log in from shared or public computers
- Check active sessions weekly - Make sure only your devices are logged in
- Always log out after using GEMTOK on a public or shared device
- Never share your credentials - Including with viewers or moderators
- Be careful with phishing - Only log in via official domain
